
Brief historical outline and basic activities:
The manufacturing tradition of Energoinvest-Termoaparati
(TAT), goes back in 1946. It started with the manufacture
of components and the performance of assembly and repair works
on hydro and thermal power plants in former Yugoslavia.
Experience was gained over the years, the range of products
widened, new technologies were introduced, which all resulted
in the export of TAT’s products to the markets of Europe,
Asia, Africa and Nort America from 1960 onwards.
The basic activity is manufacture of:
- components of nuclear power plants
- heat exchangers
- air coolers
- condensers
- drums for steam boilers
- columns
- chemical reactors
- pressure vessels
- pressure pipelines
on the basis of technical designs made by engineering and
design organizations, among which are: UOP, KELLOG, FOSTER
WHEELER, SNAMPROGETTI, TECHNIP, LUMMUS etc.

Energoinvest – Termoaparati has been recognized by
and registered with Lloyd’s Register of Shipping for
manufacture of welded pressure vessels of Class 1 since 1968.
Since 1983, TAT has ASME Certificate of authorisation for
using U and U2 symbols.
Since 1990, TAT has been authorised by TÜV acc. to AD-Merkblatt
HP0.
During war period in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1992. to
1995. factory was damaged.
From 1996. started factory reconstruction and buying of new
machines for production equipment and components to:
- thermal power plants and heat generating plants
- hydro power plants
- production and processing oil and gas
- petrochemistry
- metallurgy
- the food industry and other organic and inorganic chemical
industry
- civil ingineering industry
- pressure piping
as well as maintenance and instalation works at the plants
mentioned above.
Early 2002, TAT became fully privatised, which has opened
new opportunities and interest in international cooperation.
Since 2002, TAT has again ASME Certificate of authorisation
for using U symbol.
Since 2003, TAT has provided verification of compliance with
the conditions in accordance with AD 2000-Merkblatt HP0 /
TRD 201 / EN 729-3
